Confirmation Information

- The Sacrament of Confirmation
  
  If your child must make Confirmation or you are an adult wishing to be confirmed, then consider the following:
  
  "Recall then that you have received the spiritual seal, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding and courage, the spirit of right judgment and courage, the spirit of knowledge and reverence, the Spirit of holy fear in God's presence. Guard what you have received. God our Father has marked you with his sign; Christ the Lord has confirmed you and has placed his pledge, the Spirit, in your heart."

  Confirmation at Our Lady of Mount Virgin allows a person, mature in faith and age, to consciously accept all Catholic church teachings and be "sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit!"
  
  Child and Adults must undergo preparatory instruction in Our Lady of Mount Virigin Church. For more information please see our Religious education program or RCIA respectable.

  .The fee pays part of the cost to the parish of materials and services for the Confirmation Program, including retreat, celebration booklets, and certificate. In cases of financial hardship please call Rose Todaro. Checks should be made out to Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church. Note: Confirmation expenses are not covered by the usual tuition charged for students of Religious Education.
