RCIA - The
Journey...
We all know someone
who:
-has drifted away from church - and may just need
a personal invitation to come back...
-was baptized as an infant, but never had any
religious education and has not received any other
sacraments...
-somehow neglected to receive Confirmation as
a youth and just needs to know how to go about being confirmed
now...
-has no church family at all - and doesnt
know that the Catholic Church is for everyone.
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
is the way to bring the someone everyone knows into the community
of faith we know as Church.
RCIA is a process which assists adults in coming
to a mature and free decision to become full members of the church. The process
begins with a time of inquiry which
includes faith sharing, questions answered, new questions formed and time
for reflection.
Session for RCIA begin in September. If you are
interested for yourself, or know someone who will benefit from the experience,
please call the rectory at 973-772-2295.
Congratulations to...
